To strengthen our ability to support our maintenance operations nationwide and ensure the best possible transportation experience for passengers, MTM Transit is excited to announce we have added a third Regional Director of Maintenance to our team: John Seber. In this role, John ensures the successful execution of maintenance operations in the central region of the country. In partnership with our local General Managers and maintenance teams, John oversees activities such as preventative fleet maintenance, repairs, and bodywork. Notably, he oversees maintenance functions for our flagship operation with the Capital Metro MetroAccess system in Austin, Texas.
John is a strong leader who brings a valuable skill set and expertise to MTM Transit’s operations as we continually increase community access for the passengers we serve. With more than 33 years of experience in operations and vehicle/facility maintenance management, John has overseen the maintenance of large vehicle fleets nationwide. Most recently before joining MTM Transit, he served as the Executive Director for the Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority (CIRTA), overseeing the organization’s wide variety of transportation programs. In prior roles such as Director of Maintenance for transit operators like National Express and MV Transportation, he oversaw fleet and facility management for multiple sites.
