About Us & Meet the MTM Transit Leadership Team
Access to the grocery store, employment, medical care, and other community services are vital components of a healthy, productive life.
As communities are challenged with increasing access while containing costs, MTM Transit strives to achieve these goals while focusing on what matters most: the passenger. Helping the disabled, elderly, and other transportation disadvantaged populations with their transit needs is the core of our operations.
In 2009, MTM’s leadership created MTM Transit, to offer an unparalleled hands-on management approach for transportation needs. MTM Transit offers viable solutions that help public transit agencies connect the pieces of a community’s transportation options in an effort to increase fixed route utilization, reduce costs, and remove community barriers. From utilizing mobility management tools like assessments and travel training to promote public transit ridership, to fully managing the operation of fixed route and paratransit services, to overseeing quality assurance for multi-vendor transit systems, MTM Transit can help solve even your toughest transit challenges. We remain committed to providing quality transit services to individuals who, without reliable transportation, may be unable to take advantage of employment opportunities, get to the doctor, and access other community resources.
Over the past 12 years, MTM Transit has grown responsibly by focusing on the passenger experience and providing unparalleled hands-on management. We’ve also enhanced our service offerings, growing with our clients to offer innovative services like on-demand microtransit systems.
Our mission is to help agencies meet the transportation needs of their communities—specifically, transit-dependent populations—while ensuring an exceptional passenger experience.
MTM Transit’s five core values guide our employees in providing the highest quality customer experience possible and helping clients achieve their goals:

Our Focus On Sustainability and Our Environment
Sustainability efforts, climate change, and our environment are ever-growing areas of concern for many Americans and businesses—particularly those in the transit industry. At MTM Transit, we are putting our best efforts forward reduce our carbon footprint and make a positive impact on our industry. Our Climate Impact Statement reflects our commitment to impacting and leading change:
MTM Transit supports efforts to mitigate the impact of climate change, and is committed to lobbying for regulations that support sustainability and positive impact. Working in tandem with our industry partners and peers, we’re advocating for requirements around the use of fuel efficient vehicles in our efforts to reduce vehicle emissions and promote more environmentally friendly means of transportation for our clients and passengers.
To support this statement, we’re committed to introducing electric and hybrid vehicles into our fleets nationwide, installing solar lighting in our facilities, utilizing re-refined fluids in all of our vehicles, and enhancing our recycling efforts. But this is just the start—we’re on a mission to be the transit industry’s premiere green partner, and are continually exploring new opportunities for going green and making a difference for our environment.
As a reflection of our promise to deliver a long-term commitment to social responsibility to our clients, members, and community stakeholders, MTM and MTM Transit have officially released our formal ESG Charter.
