Keeping applicants informed has never been easier. With the new applicant notifications feature, applicants can opt to receive real-time updates via text or email about key milestones in their eligibility process. Notifications include:
- Status updates on their eligibility determination
- Reminders 30 days prior to their eligibility expiration
- Appointment reminders 24 hours in advance
Applicants can customize their notification preferences, choosing text, email, both, or opting out entirely. This enhancement not only increases transparency—it also brings measurable benefits to transit agencies, including:
- Reduced inbound calls asking about application status or appointment details
- Fewer missed appointments thanks to timely reminders
- Improved compliance with fewer instances of avoidable eligibility expiration
In the future, we plan to expand this feature with additional capabilities, such as multilingual notifications and adjustable notification timing.
Mobility Direct Applicant Portal
The newly launched Mobility Direct Applicant Portal provides applicants with 24/7 access to their profile, documents, and appointment details. This feature empowers passengers with greater transparency and control over their information. Key benefits include:

This feature is automatically available to all users of Mobility Direct. In the near future, we plan to introduce additional functionality, including the ability for riders to:

- Notify transit agencies of changes, such as new documents or updated contact details
