MTM Transit is excited to announce the hiring of Nila Zaman as our new Senior Director of Transit Technology. With more than 20 years of experience in transit operations and technology, Nila brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will further MTM Transit’s commitment to being at the forefront of the transit technology space through solutions like our Mobility Direct paratransit eligibility platform.
In her new role, Nila will lead MTM Transit’s efforts to continuously optimize service delivery through the strategic use of technology. Her extensive background in managing complex transit operations, combined with her ability to innovate and drive technological adoption, positions her to make significant contributions to MTM Transit’s goal of delivering safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services in communities nationwide.

Nila’s career is marked by progressive leadership roles in the transit industry, including her recent position as Industry Solution Manager for Mobility on Demand, where she was recognized with the Presidential Sales Award for achieving 151% of her sales target. Prior to that, she served in various operational and technology leadership roles for companies like Transdev, MV Transportation, and Trapeze Group. Throughout her career, Nila has demonstrated an exceptional ability to lead teams, manage technology transitions, and optimize service delivery systems. Her expertise spans across various areas, including strategic planning, business intelligence, technology selection and implementation, and project management.
