We recently hit a major milestone in our efforts to go green: 19.4% of our fleet is now comprised of hybrid/electric vehicles, reducing our fuel consumption by 11,000+ gallons and CO2 emissions by 104 metric tons! Recently, our mobility management team partnered with the Easter Seals for an insightful ADA paratransit eligibility workshop. Our teams delved into ADA requirements, empowering us to ensure equitable access to transportation for individuals with disabilities. We’re grateful for the Easter Seals’ expertise and are excited to implement new learnings!
We’re celebrating a huge milestone at MTM Transit Austin! Our Capital Metro Pickup program just hit one million rides, and Mr. Harry Brown, one of our amazing operators and mentors, had the honor of transporting the milestone passenger.
