MTM Transit State College Reaches Safety Milestone and Gives Back to Local Fire Department

At MTM Transit, safety and community go hand-in-hand—and our State College, Pennsylvania team just proved it.

Last week, our State College operations celebrated an incredible milestone: 150 consecutive days accident- and incident-free. This achievement reflects our drivers’ and staff’s unwavering commitment to prioritizing safety every time they’re behind the wheel. We’re incredibly proud of their dedication to protecting both our passengers and fellow drivers on the road.

As if that accomplishment wasn’t impressive enough, the team also found a meaningful way to give back to the community. They donated a retiring vehicle from their fleet to the local fire department—Logan Fire Company No. 1—for training purposes. One of our very own drivers, Tim Davis, is a proud member of the volunteer-run fire company. Thanks to this donation, firefighters now have access to a real vehicle to train on emergency response and vehicle fire scenarios—an essential part of preparing for real-life situations.

This act of service is just one example of how MTM Transit builds strong relationships in the communities we serve. Whether it’s ensuring a safe ride or supporting local first responders, we’re committed to making a positive impact beyond transportation.
