Since the start of the pandemic, the MTM Transit team in Austin has collaborated with our client, Capital Metro, to deliver meals to community members in need. We’re excited to announce that we’ve officially delivered more than one million meals to our Austin neighbors! Filled with shelf-stable items as well as fresh produce, these meal deliveries help community members like older adults and people with disabilities who struggled to safely access community resources during the pandemic.
What exactly does one million meals look like? That amount of food is enough to fill more than 25,600 60-foot articulated electric buses, or more than 1,200 Yeti Tundra 250 hard coolers.
