MTM Transit, a leading provider of public transit solutions focused on creating community access, is honored to announce the addition of Mitch Beckett as Director, Business Development. In this role, Mitch will work closely with MTM Transit’s diverse Business Development team—inclusive of two other Directors, Business Development, Natalie Badinghaus and TJ Jordan—to identify, pursue, and acquire new business through competitive bidding opportunities and organic growth. He will also focus on building strong relationships and growth opportunities with existing clients.
Mitch brings more than two decades of proven sales leadership in the fleet management and government sectors, with extensive experience leading national sales functions for transit organizations across the United States. Most recently, as National Director of Government Sales at Vector Fleet Management, he closed $14 million in new business and secured a key contract for government fleet maintenance and management. His career also spans successful business development positions at First Vehicle Services, Travel Centers of America, JB Hunt, and Penske, with expertise in RFP/RFQ processes, contract negotiations, and building trusted partnerships with government entities and private fleets.
