Technology Supports Every Aspect of MTM Transit’s Operations
Our Technology team plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. The team supports every aspect of transit through technology—from dispatch and scheduling systems to safety, maintenance, reporting, and troubleshooting. If a system connects, powers on, or helps a bus roll, this team is responsible for it. Their work includes launching new software, managing networks, maintaining devices, training staff, and ensuring each location is equipped with the tools it needs to succeed. The department’s mission is simple but critical: ensure MTM Transit’s people have the technology they need to do their jobs effectively.
Small Team, Big Impact
The MTM Transit Technology team is a lean, but highly impactful group, consisting of six location-dedicated staff members and four corporate team members who support all locations company-wide. Location-dedicated staff serve as boots on the ground, handling day-to-day technical needs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring individual sites operate without disruption. Meanwhile, the corporate team manages enterprise-wide systems, rolls out new technology initiatives, and provides support across the organization.
Despite its size, the team carries the responsibility of keeping MTM Transit’s entire transit technology ecosystem running—anywhere, anytime. Their flexibility, responsiveness, and willingness to jump in wherever needed help ensure that every trip and safety feature is fully supported.
